Early Career Development and Resources

The purpose of the American Heart Association's Early Career and mentoring programs is to encourage and assist promising students and junior faculty as they seek to embark upon and establish successful careers in science. With these programs, in the AHA will:

  • Encourage the development of young cardiovascular and stroke researchers, scientist, clinicians, nurses, academicians, etc.
  • Provide resources for career developement.
  • Provide menttoring opportunities for established faculty to work with students, trainees and junior faculty members.
  • Seek attract those in the Early Career audience to the AHA as members and volunteers, forging a lifelong relationship with the AHA.
